Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Dear Patients and Residents of Brockworth,

Once again thank you for all your good wishes , we have been overwhelmed  your messages and it’s great to read all your comments and feedback on the notice board, they are definitely what is keeping everyone going , and we would like to say a thank you this week to Sheridan Hawkins and her group for the wonderful uniform laundry bags, we are so grateful and they are much better than black bags we were using as staff can pop them straight in the washing machine when they take uniforms off.

We are all okay and am pleased to say all the doctors and team are fit and well, and those who have had symptoms have been tested and are now back at work so fingers crossed, we do have some members of staff in 12 week isolation and some working from home but we are managing with your patience and understanding .

Cases are increasing and as you have probably seen on the news we are expecting this to peak in the next few weeks, the surgery will be open on Good Friday & Easter Monday (normal hours) where we will have doctors triaging and seeing any necessary patients or referring them to the Hub at Rosebank surgery but all patients will be triaged, can we please ask no one comes to the surgery on these days unless asked by the doctor  to do so,  as we will only be having the reception team in answering phones and doctors phoning people that need help,  so no prescriptions if possible.

Many people are phoning in asking if they should be in isolation due to underlying conditions please see message from doctors and links below:

We are receiving a high volume of similar queries re risk groups etc and appreciate your patience.
